EgyptAir Announces Airbus A350 Order

Hi everyone, it's Andy from Airliners Live here with some exciting news from the Dubai Airshow.

EgyptAir has just announced an order for 10 Airbus A350-900s, the most modern and efficient widebody aircraft in the world . This is a huge deal for the Egyptian flag carrier, which is looking to expand its network and offer more comfort and convenience to its passengers.

The A350-900 is my personal favourite airliner in the skies today, and I'm sure many of you share that sentiment. It has a stunning design, with sleek winglets, big and great sounding engines, and a spacious cabin with ambient lighting and wide seats. It also has a range of up to 9,700 nautical miles, which means it can fly to almost any destination on the planet .

EgyptAir expects to receive its first A350-900 in 2025, and will complete the delivery by 2027. I can't wait to see these beauties in their distinctive livery, and I hope they will come to Manchester Airport someday. As you know, EgyptAir launched a new route from Cairo to Manchester earlier this year, using the 737-800s and more recently the gorgeous A321neo. We love seeing these aircraft at our airport, and we hope EgyptAir will send larger aircraft to Manchester in the future, maybe even these A350s!
